Frequently Asked Questions

  • Rules and Regulations for Electric Scooters

    • Scooters are permitted on all public roads and streets that are 30 mph and under
    • Scooters are permitted on the road of Goat Island
    • Riders must disembark their scooter and walk the scooter while on any walking or pedestrian paths in the Niagara Falls State Park, due to heavy pedestrain traffic. 
    • Must be 16 years of age to ride a scooter without a parent of guardian
    • Children 12+ are permitted on a scooter tour with a parent or guardian and must wear a helmet supplied for free
    • Electric scooters are not toys and should be ridden with extreme caution
    • Drinking alcohol and riding an electric scooter is not allowed by NYS Law and could result in a DWI or extreme harm to yourself or others
    • We highly recommend and encourage everyone to wear a helmet while riding. They are supplied free of charge
  • Months and hours of operation?

    We are open April 15th - September 15th for hourly rentals at our outdoor kiosks from 10am - 9pm. Last hourly rental leaves at 8pm. Last 2 hour rentals leaves at 7pm.


    From September to April we offer deliveries to all downtown Niagara Falls hotels for ALL DAY rentals only.

  • Payment methods accepted?

    We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, chime and so on. We only take a card to process for payment.


    We do not accept any cash payments due to safety and secuirty reasons of our outdoor kiosks. 


  • Cancelation & Refund Policy for rentals

    All Day, Multiple Day or Hourly Rentals:

    • 100% Refund if you cancel 24 hours prior to your booked/ scheduled rental date and time. 
    • 50% Refund if you cancel within the 24 hour window of your scheduled rental date and time. 
    • 0% Refund if you did not cancel before or within 24 hour window of your scheduled rental date and time. 
    • THERE IS ZERO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURNED EQUIPMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS
    • To cancel you can email: sightseerental@gmail.com or by phone, call or text: 716-345-5446. Text or email is preferred and has time stamped record of your cancelation. You must provide the First & Last Name of the reservation and the confirmation number. 

    Hourly Booked Rentals:


    • Please be 15 mins. prior to your scheduled time to fill out a liability waiver & receive a brief safety tutorial. 
    • Showing up late will affect your hourly rental duration, so please be on time. 
    • Showing up 30 mins. or later of your reserved time, Sight See Rentals reserves the right to cancel your hourly rental with zero refund. Please be on time! 
    • We do accept walk-up customers. All walk-ups are subject to rental availability and are on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Do You Deliver

    We deliver to all hotels located in downtown Niagara Falls in the tourist district. We only deliver equipment for All Day Rentals between 9am - 4pm. Deliveries must be prearranged. Call 716-345-5446 to setup a delivery. We only deliver kickstart scooters, mobility scooters, wheelchairs & strollers. 

  • All Day or Multiple Day Rentals

    All Day Rentals are considered 3 or 4 more hours of usage.  All day rentals are not considered 24 hour rentals.  


    All Day rentals or multiple day rentals are due back by 9pm or the following morning between 10am - 11am of the last day of your rental.  The earliest you can return with a rental is 10am and the latest is 11am. If we do not have your rental back by 11am you could face additional charges.  We open at 10am.
